Members of Project First Rate understand the importance of building the very best for Northern Illinois, giving our community safe, sustainable places in which to live, work, and play.
Project First Rate is helping a group of motivated tradeswomen start the region’s only group dedicated to supporting and recruiting women into the building and construction trades. This group, Tradeswomen United of Northwestern IL (TWU), will lead its own initiatives while also supporting the efforts of Project First Rate, its members, and partners to ensure that women and girls know how they can build a rewarding career in the trades while building a culture of camaraderie and support for all.
